Cannot draw sword

Very frustrating.Every time there is an ambush I can't draw sword no matter how hard I press on D pad.

you press x or square if ps5 controller to draw weapon Not d pad. d pad just selects the weapon you want equiped on your belt

yeah strugeld with this to. then i found out you can use the x butten to sheet your current weapon...
