Help Needed: Stolen Banner Quest

Hello,
I'm currently working on a side quest to retrieve the stolen banner belonging to the miners of Kuttenberg. The banner is supposed to be located in Denmark. I've already killed all the brigands, saved the family, and searched all the chests, but I can't seem to find the stolen banner.
Does anyone have a solution or know where it might be?

Hi, you can find a banner where there were 3 dead mill workers. Under the stairs in the dark there will be a complex chest. You probably missed it!
