As I understood this appears also when Mutt is going somewhere it should not. In this case people will try to kick him and he will run away unless you call him to the heel.
Thank you, this worked for me. Sent Mutt home and the issue did not come back.
I had a similar problem - the bunny was permanently stuck on orange aggro because I let one of the bandits go during a random encounter. He despawned but the icon remained.
Traveling to another region (back to Trosky) fixed it for me. I got back to Kuttenberg and it's gone. It costed 200 groschen each way but it was worth it.
Apparently another solution is to load save from before it happened, but that may be a difficult decision if you didn't save for some time.
I also heard you can kill the person that's causing it - if you can find them. For me that wasn't possible.
