Please for the love of god BUFF LOCKPICKING
Why does it get so unreasonably difficult??? I never had nearly so many issues picking locks in the first game but somehow ya'll made it worse in this game. Unless the game tells me a lock is too difficult I should have a reasonable shot at opening it. Not be damn near impossible to pick

Hmm reading the thread, I guess it is really a bug on some pc's, luckily I have no issue, my cursor/mouse moves fast as on desktop even on every mini game inside the game and in the game itself when just walking around etc.

On starting level is so much harder than KCD1. It's near on impossible with mouse and keyboard. I was forced to mod it just so I could progress.

It doesn't help) Lock is moving way more faster than mouse coursor on every level)

If you have issues with mouse sensitivity try adjusting the DPI settings on your mouse?
The biggest problem is that there are no separate mouse sensitivity settings for mini-games) So if you want to smith or lockpick smoothly - you need to change the whole game mouse sensitivity settings for the game, and then set them back. So it's easier to play with bug than change sensitivity.
If you are having trouble with lockpicking at 22 thievery that is a personal problem. I picked my first vh lock around 15 and haven't had trouble with one since

1) I have no problems with lockpicking.
2) Read the thread.

My Thievery is almost 16 lol that should be considered fairly competent. Not a master thief by any means but it also shouldn't be basically impossible to open hard difficulty locks at this level either (since the caps for stats and skills are 30 now)
Yeah, if the game is messing you around at 16 Thievery it's probably a bug. I haven't experienced this myself (I think) but that must be infuriating.

I'm pretty sure I encountered a bug in the combo section of the combat tutorial with Tomcat. Utterly infuriating.

You do realize it's possible for people to experience a bug that doesn't affect you with your hardware setup and/or settings, right? This is one of the (few) downsides of PC gaming.

blacksmithing aint bugged, your moving the hammer not the work piece.
Please, try to read my post again. I clearly state the obvious problem - mouse sensitivity in blacksmith and lockpicking mini-games are reversed. In Blacksmithing it's too sensible in lockpicking - it's much less sensible than it should be.
No its henry lack of skill, relax do the stuff many times and around lvl 15 of the skill it start to feel normal
Maybe this helps. Removes shake from lockpicking.
Open console and enter: wh_pl_LockPickingShakeOverride = 0

I know, it's "cheating" but if lockpicking is ruining the fun for you, try it.
Just activate dev mode to use it.
Start the game with this parameter: -devmode

Sensitivity is certainly different than in KCD1 but how do you know it's bugged?

If someone has issues with lockpicking I'd expect them to use other options, there are always some
Just keep practicing, you'll get it eventually :papyrus:

They just reversed sensitivity for blacksmithing and lockpicking. In blacksmithing it moves like hell in lockpicking - slow as hell.

I have no issue with lockpicking with a controller, but I know there's a big difference between my first time lock-picking and now. You need to practice at the miller. There's a chest that you can lock-pick over and over.
