Gerda doesnt talk
im trying to figure the aparition quest with the Hermit. When gathering information, Gerda doesnt talk to me. I talked to the Innkeeper, tried talking with the villagers and they send me to talk to her... but she doesnt talk to me.

Also, i tried giving shnaps to the sheppard and that didnt work. I brough multiple ones, i tried putting them on my belt, but at least i did it with coins. I cannot solve what to do with Gerda.

Is Gerda the herb woman?
Is it greyed out or just not there - I mean the Talk option.

It's not super important anyway and has no real effect so don't worry.

Usually whenever an npc doesn't talk to me, it's fixed by saving and restarting the game.

Not necessary if the option is simply greyed out.

In certain animations you simply can't talk to them, like walking through a door or whatever.

That's usually fixed by just waiting an in-game hour or whatever needs to happen to shift their activities.

Right after I replied I decided to go talk to Innkeeper Betty again after the initial time. There were more dialog options, and she sent me to Gerda. From there I was able to speak to Gerda to get it all figured out. Hopefully you have figured it out by now!

I found that as an option on internet. I talked with the Inkeeper, talked with people on the village, went to do other things, came back, tried at different times of the day. Never worked.

I just "completed" the quest with the book and never solved the ghost part :/
