Can this game go five seconds without cutting my strength in half?

Welcome to the pain of crawling overburdened past 50 guards. It's not that bad as you at least get fairly regular autosaves. If a path isn't working, go around. Don't try and sneak through where a bunch of guards are patrolling cause they'll walk so fast they'll complete their circuit before you get through. You've got a fair bit of space to go around groups so the obvious path isn't always the best.

Honestly it was the first time I felt the game let me bust loose. Got like 10+ skill ups all told in various areas just because of how much target practice they throw at you. Also most of them have peasant tier gear while being "Soldier" for some reason. Clearly the devs wanted you to not HAVE to sneak if you were him.

Ya it doesn't help to be over-encumbered but it's the like 100 guys crawling through the woods, I can't focus on one guy walking towards me without 3 more walking up behind me. How many people live in these towns that are available to mount a full search party about 5 minutes after an escape lmao. At least the stone throwing is pretty helpful but damn, I need eye's on every side of my head for this

When you got people moving up from behind I found I could sneak back through them if they were far enough apart, like when you're in an open area. So long as you got dark clothes, maybe throw a stone to distract one. Trying to keep ahead of them is impossible if you're overburdened
