Thoughts on the forced stealth missions?
I didn't put any levels into Stealth, and so I'm finding the forced stealth missions EXTREMELY frustrating. You know the ones I mean. There's no other way to do them except stealth.

Am I alone in thinking they are (slightly) tarnishing an otherwise stellar game?

I'm surprised people have so much problems with stealth. It literally takes less than an hour to max it by pickocketing everyone at midnight instead of sleeping for the night. Even at 15-20 stealth nobody can see you due to the perks. By the time you do three villages you are all set.

Have not yet had a forced stealth mission....

If you went to the Miller and you don't want to do his crap go talk to the Blacksmith and ignore his crap....
Forced stealth always sucks.

Quicksave helps.

Could also try this mod to make items quieter. Haven't tried it.

I see, and are these "forced stealth missions" here in the room with us now?

There are multiple ways to do every mission I've come across, at least so far.

What if I don’t want to play this way?

I haven't encountered any "forced stealth" missions yet. There are missions that require stealth if you want to complete them but you don't need to do them to get to the wedding. The blacksmith missions can be done without stealth though lock-picking is useful. But you can level up stealth fairly easily at the millers in lower Semine. Just pay attention to the quest givers and trainers in that area. Lockpick, hand to hand combat, knockout and pickpocket are trained there.
Have yall not gotten PAST the wedding part yet, without spoiling anything it seems like it is a FORCED stealth segment. If there is a another way to do this segment, im all ears because it is in fact really tedious, esp since you cant use saviour schnapps.
There was one that I used a console command to skip because it was absolutely obnoxious. It's a legit quit moment. Anyone who's going to insist you can complete quests in whatever way you like hasn't played this mission yet and when you get there, well, enjoy.

No, they clearly haven't. lol

I'm quite far past the wedding but haven't reached the major city that was talked about before the game released. I've encountered two forced stealth missions so far.

I'm talking about freeing Hans before he's hanged and escaping from the castle a few quests later after being tortured - where I can't even run because I have all my heavy armour (not wearing it though) and my strength has been tortured down to 4.

The wedding is a breeze compared to what's coming with regard to forced stealth.

AHHHHH that is so annoying, the post wedding missions stealth isnt TOO bad it took me a good 45 minutes to figure out what to do / doing everything and ofc I messed up the last bit so I had to redo my previous save. I cant imagine how annoying it gets ughhh

It gets "I think I might uninstall" levels of annoying. As I said in my previous post, I used a console command to skip the mission after over an hour of futility.

Thats crazy, I do not look forward to this . Did using this console command prevent you from earning achievements?
