[Solved] Overkill Achievement Bugged?

After an hour I managed to hit a rabbit with a pistole and looted the "Frikadelle" that it leaves behind but I didn't get the achievement for it.

I did it both with a pistole and a master handgonne, both using standard lead balls. is this a glitch, or was I supposed to use scattershot?

Edit: Nevermind, I was just able to get the achievement using scattershot

Yeah it's stupid, I spent like hour killing rabbits to not get that achiev

I killed more than 10 of this and didnt get it

I can't even find rabbits, there's ton of every other animal, but not hares

i found some south west of bylany, on a field with mowed down gras. its on the map between the area with the tree stumps and the actual fields.

try to sneak while shooting it, remember to use scatter shots

Yes, you need to use scattershot for that achievement. Rabbits are at the same spots as deer.

Holy ♥♥♥♥, I just spent like an hour trying to get a rabbit with a lead ball and after killing one, but not receiving the achievement, I went and killed another rabbit just to see if it was a fluke or bug. It still didn't give it to me so I look online and get a solid answer. Thank you, but holy crap is it frustrating that you get the achievement for doing it the easy way but get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you try to do it with the more challenging ammo.
