Game keeps crashing - any advice

Hi, the game keeps crashing every 5-15 minutes. No issue until today... wondering if anyone else has had the same issue? The whole computer crashes and restarts... The game as such runs smoothly

Try turning off DLSS and turning the Graphic Preset to High.

just change the thermal paste on your CPU or maybe gpu ? idk the state of your pc ... you dont have to thank me just do it, the game will make any pc hot on higher settings and im comvinced yours is shutting down to protect itself from melting, make sure that your pc is properly cooled. i bet your old junk hasen't worked so hard in a while no offence. i bet its that 100% lol.

Cutting up the credit card after deleting it from your browser or vault software. Having to manually enter it each time may bring at least a little self-control to buy next product until a year or two later when its finally working and patched.

Ohh, Tuesday through Friday is only a few days away and it won't be an issue then. Next product is ready to go being rented at full price.

Same issue here, DDUed the latest Nvidia Driver, updated bios to latest version, updated Windows nothing seemed to work.

Not a heat issue as logs show all cores < 65c at the time of crashing. It occurs only when the game is attempting to save, but not every time. DLSS made no difference, but setting the graphics to High changed it from a crash to a stutter.

Same here. Running AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, AMD 7800XT, 32GB DDR5. No heat issue. However, game hard crashes causing my screen to go black and my GPU to crash. When I restart, I have to renable my GPU. I run KCD1 just fine on the same machine with high settings. I am not sure what the bug is. I tried various solutions from these websites, but nothing worked.

I ultimately had to ask for a refund. I could not get past the tutorial training fight.

I'm having the same issue, no bsod, nothing in logs, just OFF then restarts. I have everything on low, still having issues. No other game or other GPU intensive programs (local AI models) have given me problems. Seems to happen only during cutscenes and only since latest patch.

In my case, it seems to be memory related. I switched off XMP and that stabilized it, then I replaced my RAM with a different kit that was explicitly listed as compatible on my motherboard's website and re-enabled XMP, and it ran flawlessly at max settings for ~60 hours, until this update broke it again.

I have an 7800X3D - RX6800 - 32GB DDR5 -6000mhz my temperature is around 40-50 so its cold asf playing the game on medium settings with 144 locked fps - Still crashes 5-15 min into the game. Same with NFS Heat. All other games runs like butter.
