Battle of the Frogs and Mice bug?

I ran into this problem: during the "Mice" quest, at the end, I tell Innkeeper Prochek that I painted the bull. After that, he mentions continuing the war between the villages, but when I try to pursue this path, Innkeeper Prochek says that everyone is in mourning and the fight is postponed. Has anyone encountered this outcome? I don’t recall killing any quest-related characters that could have triggered these consequences.

I encountered a different bug related to this quest, I tell Prochek that I painted the bull and accompany them to the fight. The people from Tachov uses weapons during the fight which leads to killing the Zhelejovites. Once at least one person dies of the conflict, the quest fails.
