I also rescued two people from a castle and we escaped on horseback only after the cutscene they were on horseback and i was on foot and couldnt whistle my horse so i had the joy of watching 10+ minutes of two horses moving at the speed you move carrying a sack, they finally got to a 'checkpoint' that allowed me to actually play the game again.
Def not GOTY because of the lack of QA/Testing
It dumps you into that quest, cuts half your strength so you're encumbered and I was not about to let them do a dead money dlc to me, I kept all my stuff but it was a pain sneaking through that forest. The game then proceeds to change your outfit in like the next three cut scenes so you're constantly fixing your load out, very annoying
I hate it too though. And you really should be able to retain your outfit settings. I'm fairly certain I'd remember which clothing I wanted to use for stealth, battle and fancy situations.
SO annoying. Why give us bloody loadouts if you override them with pants again and again?
Solution is easy, add 4th loudout: PANTS ONLY! I find it especially annoying when my "night shift" attire is overwritten again as it has no fancy cloths but the least obtrusive, least noisy and least visible cloths which usually have the same name as many of their variations but better stats.
