I play them along with three Holy Trinity dice.
The Antiochus dice will always land on threes and the Holy Trinity dice will usually land on threes.
I seldom lose now, even against the cheating lady at the Tachov Tavern.
Just get the 3 extra saint antiochus dice.
it will let you win turn 1 every game.
1. Multiple saint Antonius dice (and just go for threes).
2. Multiple copies of the favored die (best odds for playing 1s and 5s)
3. The entire devil dice set (spooky dice that double any combo you get if you roll a devil head).
Other than that, plenty of people have their own combos that work for them well enough.
I debated doing that and decided against it. I have a small bit of an OCD about not finishing a round. And if I can play every die every time without risk its just gonna annoy me to stop just because I've already met the goal, if I have another play to make. ;)
you could ofc just end the turn before you get the points needed to win ;) then you can finish the round and win round 2.
I've been 2000 points behind an opponent and they busted 4 times in a row before I finally caught up, pause. I've also been 50 points away from winning a 5000 point game while far in the lead just to have the opponent get 3 full straights in a row and beat me, suffice to say I rage quit to a previous save after that dice game.
So in my experience you have the best odds of winning if you stay close in points to your opponent and only go real big on your last turn if you think you can win. In my experience the dice themselves haven't been a big decider in my odds of victory.
try to get 3 6 and 3 devil heads
