It does seem like some enemies can performed unarmed master strike (a completely distinct action from both normal ripostes and clinches) though. It's possible there is a way to learn this in game but i don't know how.
Obviously Tomcat says that swords are the only way to do master strikes, but I don't think we can be 100% certain that that's true.
You haven't been in enough brawls then. After a point they are pretty amazing at masterstriking you.
Just confused on why have it there if they cut the content for it?
Would of been really cool to have that tho. So its a shame.
Yup. Once you hit some of the harder brawls they start doing it frequently. Annoying cause it's harder to read their stance so I kept getting screwed over by it.
It probably is. I've seen an NPC do it but you can't learn it.
Since it seems to be almost completed, it's possible they'll add it in a patch. Or they will disable NPC unarmed masterstrikes and it was a mistake, as the devs have said in pre-release streams that masterstrikes can only be done with swords.
Yeah, I found out clenching works best when fighting these annoying MFers.
might be cut content but it exists as a perk and is actually possible to perform, so its likely that the trainer just hasn't been found
