That's not the point.
The point is people thought it wouldn't make that far in the FIRST WEEKEND. I'm not sure how difficult that is to acknowledge, lol.

People stop playing single player games when they're finished? No way!

2 GOTY winners and really good games also had a massive "downfall" once people completed the games.

Unable to cope with the success, they went on to seethe on the Avowed forums and a few stragglers are so mad that they're trying to get the game removed for pedophilia. :steamhappy:

"The game has paid for itself."

Oh man. You're so gullible to believe such nonsense.

Everyone forgets there is a thing such as taxes and carry-over for the next project.

Just for steam alone, there is a 30% cut on each sale made. Then you still need to pay taxes, which is 21%, based on the RETAIL price.

So a sale of 59.99 is- with all costs deducted, suddenly only 29,4 euro's worth.

THAT money, still needs to pay for wages for game support and upcoming development.
AND then you still need to account for return from the investors.

Yeah, they've definately made their money back... /S
