How does the reputation system works?
Hi everyone!
I've been playing this game non stop for the last 2 days, i feel i've done NOTHING and yet it's a very rewarding nothingness, if that makes sense :')

But i'm here in regards of the reputation system... I... just don't get it... there are some missions that I do in which i lose reputation from one end, but i gain reputation right after from another person... so my question is:

Is this reputation system linked altogheter? meaning the more reputation I have, the more important i am to everyone.
Or is this reputation system based on personal likings? maybe they just spread the word within their city, and that's it..? but what if i talk with a bandit out of being robbed and I increase reputation... is that only TO the bandits? or everyone in the world?

Thanks in advance and I hope it makes sense.

. just so this post doesnt fall into oblivion
Was wondering this too. Is it like a general reputation or is it specific between characters and regions.
Reputation is a local as well as a personal matter. Henry collects either good or negative reputation in his interactions with NPCs. As I understand it, NPCs engage in word of mouth, i.e. they talk about Henry's actions. There is also a perk that influences the spread of reputation. You can see Henry's reputation in a town by the smiley on the map.
