The combat is casual and easy. Its just a mini-game now?
Just compare these two videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxVE2zVZeKY

https://youtu.be/cOa_-RUyupc?feature=shared&t=714

- go to min 11.
Ignore the last guys musings.

Just loo at the cumans in the secon video. Not once do they attempt to surround him.
Every time he switches target the the guy he was fighting backs off.

The first video is a proper 1v3 brawl.
The second one is 1v1 then 1v1 then 1v1 then 1v1.

There's no challenge to that?

Idk my fights are exactly the same as in the first video
Um, no. The guy in the first video is just bad, he's letting them getting around him. In the second video they absolutely are trying to get around behind him; that's why he needs to keep switching targets. The guy in the second video knows what he's doing, and is controlling the fight using distance and manoeuvring. The guy in the first video just ran in and started swinging like an idiot, and only survived because of his armour.
Thank God! for "casual and easy".

At around min 12 he's just dueling one guy at the time in the forrest and even when one guy gets behind him that guy never attacks him.

Its been confirmed that enemies are less aggressive and give the player more time when they are ganging up on you.

zeanomourph is right, you're showing 2 different skill levels, the groups fight the same in kcd2 and kcd. My only gripe with the combat is that kcd2 feels slower and switching weapons isn't as fluid as in kcd.

If you have both games try beating 3v1 in the first and 3v1 in the second. See how many times you get hit. There are no blows being attempted. It has noting to do with skill. Generaly speaking while youre swinging at someone, someone else should be taking potshots at you.

IMO its just getting to your head which is probably what they wanted to create, a sensation in people that they are "skilled".

The mini game is also all about blocking at the absolute right time and then counterstriking. Enemies themselves block much better now. But this wouldnt work if they also were aggressive cause while you wait for them to make an attack to make that perfect block you should be getting smashed.
Combat is fairly easy if you are opportunistic and use what's available.

Lmao they are just creeping around for the full first fight. What is this even. At the second one at least you had that barrier.

In the first one i poked them with my sword that has bane poison on . so they can't run.
so i created some space so i can take them 1vs1
works even with weak bane.

second still has bane and yea why not use the barrier .. i didn't put it there, but happily use it to make the fight more easy.

this isn't tournament with rules, it's street fight with knifes.

I think combat has been improved since the last game , which you only had one skill riposte to kill them or even beggers with clubs could block and master strike you if you did anything else.

I've dueled some higher skill opponents in this new game and they aren't ..easy.
there is a dude in siggy camp , if you try the 3x fights duel early you get rolled over, too fast atk speed

No but the dueling isnt the problem. In fact the enemies are if anything a bit harder in 1v1 unless you cheese them constantly.

Its that they just arent out to murder you in group fights. even the first game had this but the second one is obvious. The opposite could be that 2 of them immediately run to your sides and try to get angles on you. But its not happening even in slow motion.

Its there to make u feel like a hero but its so obvious I cant ignore it.
