WHY cant you have sir brunswick armor with gold edition

i got the gold edition but i cant have sir brunswick armor cause i didnt preorder? well if im getting the gold edition i should have that . so that needs to be fixed, otherwise disliking everything about this game and im not recommending anybody to play this game til i get the armor

Here's the weird thing. You get the pre-order bonus if you pre-order. It is, in fact, in a very real way, a bonus for pre-ordering.

So you want a pre order bonus without the pre order part? Not sure how that'll work.

They will most likely release those in the future but you can't expect to get it now a few days after release. That would defeat the point of it being preorder bonuses.
Maybe get the twitch drops instead. haven't gotten them myself but assuming it's the same kind of thing as the Brunswick armour.

The Brunswick armour is crap. It's been sat in my chest for ages because it looks hideous and there are other armour pieces with better stats. Brunswick armour is pointless later in the game.

Wasn't the Warhorse set in KCD1 a preorder bonus? Rn you can get it if you buy the dlc. They might do the same with this set.

Only one part of it is nice in the first map due to charisma bonus, but you won't be wearing any of it on the second map.

Its a good set but you have to go and retrieve it. Its a bit of a lengthy thing to do and for people just starting out some sections would be next to impossible to retrieve due to the combat. So trust me when I say your are not missing out. The twitch drops are better since they are auto in your chest once you get a bed.

Its not crap. Stats on it are on par or a few points below the best armour in the game. It is literally end game armour that doesint weigh as much as its counterparts and you get it before going to kuttenburg. The real problems with it is the helmet is giant and looks silly and the chest armour has clipping issues with many chain mail collars. The Brunswick gauntlets, leg plates and arm plates are excellent though and look good with any end game armour. The armor also gives you an early charisma and speech boost.

I held off searching for it, as it felt like it was given too early, and hate it when games give high level preorder gear right out the gate like that, and only went looking once I had already started to put together some good gear...

I ended up wearing the brigandine and gauntlets all the way till the end of the main story, with no over coat, as I loved the patterned brigandine, and the gauntlets worked well with other gold-embossed arm and leg armours, since I didn't like the arms, or legs from Brunswick's set... The helmet was just hideous, and would appear during cutscenes, since it didn't have an opening visor, despite actually being lifted like it did via Z......

It’s not that big of a deal, just like in most games with preorder content it’s only good for the first couple hours of the game, yes it makes that part easier but by hour 10-15 I only have his dagger equipped, and it’s not even different than a regular dagger
