Endgame suggestions SPOILERS ALERT!!
Attention SPOILERS
First and foremost, congratulations on this game. It is an incredible, amazing story. The adventure is extraordinary, the characters are deep and well-built, the regions are in line with the first game but larger, so it's really great. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a story so well done. So on that side a real success.
However, the ending is not up to par with such a great adventure, it disappointed me greatly. So the hero who achieves such achievements, such as saving his companions repeatedly, ending the war in the country, causing the defeat of the usurper king, defeating the villainous lords, etc... is rewarded with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING? It is incredible how little enthusiasm you have put into the end of the story. In the epilogue you can choose between Katherine or Rose (I love both, but it doesn't matter), although it doesn't matter what you choose because absolutely nothing happens afterward.
In the first game, from quite early on you could obtain the hunter's house in Talmberg, to have your own home, even the great success of the DLC from the ashes, in which you built a town and had your home there, as a base of operations throughout the second act of the game, really a success even if it did not come from the beginning and you had to wait for the DLC. But in this game there is no such possibility, nor a sad cabin to sleep in without paying first, it seems that the more achievements Henry achieves, the poorer and more miserable he becomes. But he doesn't even get Radzig's sword if he doesn't choose the life of an adventurer in the epilogue dialogue!!
Really sad and disappointing. Such a story should end by rewarding Henry for his efforts by knighting him, and gifting him one of the fortresses destroyed during the game, such as Semine in the Trosky region and Rose's family's fortress in Maleshov. Both can be rebuilt since they are not used again in the game and would be a base for Henry during the adventure, a home to return to with a forge, his own bed, bathrooms to wash clothes and heal, and with Katherine and/or Rose (or one in each home hehe) to be able to repeat the beautiful bed scenes and obtain the power-up without having to go to the girls in the public baths, after all that's why you have a partner and it would give meaning to the romance of the game. The experience would be absolutely immersive and the game would be unbeatable. Please do it, I'm sure all of us fans would enjoy it. And it is the best way to complete the game's missions and explore the rest of the map once the main story is finished.
Thank you for this fantastic game and please finish it as it deserves.

That would really suck. :steamsad:

Why is Warhorse against fulfilling romantic resolutions?

Do they hate romance like Avellone and want to troll it wherever they can or just wanted to add a touch of "cynical realism" to the game?

Or simply love Henry being fate's buttmonkey?

I doubt they believe that players enjoy their efforts going for naught and getting an unfulfilling resolution...so its for the devs sake for some reason then? Or did they just run out of funds and this is the result?

Really disappointed that I can't even talk to Katherine, post main story, let alone get any kind of resolution to the romance arc other than "We'll see."
