Most enemies can't read your Master Strike and they'll be very easy to punish for it, given that Master Strike can't be avoided or blocked, so they'll die in couple hits unless they are heavily armoured.
I've noticed that combo seems to get the opponents weapon in all the wrong places for him to block effectively. am i right?
It works fine. Enemies have stamina, but Henry starts out pretty weak. Levelling skills up will make a massive difference & then you'll notice when enemies are low on stamina by their stance.
Enemies can perfect block your ripostes just like you can do to them. It's a back & forth flow to drain the other's stamina. Then you can more easily use combos without them blocking & riposting There's also masterstrikes that you can learn with swords that's the easiest technique to win fights with, but swords won't always be viable in fights against heavily armoured enemies.
Henry just needs some levelling up so his stamina pool isn't tiny. Combos can be effective, but imo require a lot more player knowledge than just in-game skill level. Reading the opponent & reacting quickly is key & I'm by no means that good at it.
