I think you are mixing "YOUR" Henry storyline with the canonical Henry storyline, you can have "YOUR story" inside the game with your options
I'm not mixing anything, I just hate the fact that there's no official character transfer between KCD1 and KCD2.

Messaggio originale di Nightmare Hell:
Iyeah it would be AMAZING AF If we could bring our horses from KCD1 BUUUT...
It wouldn't be amazing. It would be just ok. Mass effect franchise did that trick 14 years ago. We should consider the absence of char transfer as a bum, not char transfer as something "amazing".

Messaggio originale di Nightmare Hell:
The canonical horse of WARHORSE story is Pebbles, as much as you don't like that horse and its completely fine you don't, I also trader Pebbles very early on first game, but IT IS Henry's horse, like it or not.
There's no canonical horse in KCD1. Pebbles is a canonical property. And if you don't understand the difference - you have never been working with horses.

And you clearly don’t understand how canon works in video games, if you were to only play the story mode in kcd 1 and never go off the main path you would not get any horse other than pebbles making pebbles Henry’s one and only canon horse. No matter what you think or how you feel that is a fact and you can’t change that with your opinions. It doesn’t matter at all if you’ve been “working with horses” this is a video game. And who are you to tell this other guy to not consider char transfer amazing? That’s his opinion and it’s extremely rare that games do that so calling it amazing isn’t too far off.
Pisek lad is the best imho.

Yup, for sure. I never attended cultorology credit in my university, never passed the exam, and never wrote the year's thesis in the area. It was my dream.

It makes pebbles only horse property, which Jindřich owned. You're confusing horses and property. That's not the same.

And who are thou to gaslight me, telling me that my feelings don't matter and that the opinion of that guy is more important than mine? If we were talking face-to-face - thou would be hit in the face twice already. So it's thine luck, that I have only one option to answer thy BS - block.

Yes, you can buy horses before you get Pebbles, but that doesn't change fact, that those horses you can buy are optional and Pebbles is canonnicaly Henry's horse.
I think we just have different definitions of the word "canonical". For me, it's what was predefined by the world rules and it's an antonym for "optional" :-)
Pebbles is offered to you as part of the main story... "predefined by the world rules". Buying or riding any other horse is entirely optional, but Pebbles will always be the horse "predefined" by the game world if you don't take any of the other options. So yeah, by your own definition, Pebbles is canonically Henry's horse.
SPOILER ALERT FOR SECRET ACHIEVEMENT:

If you keep Pebbles and ride her long enough, you will unlock a secret achievement that upgrades Pebbles to one of the best horses in the game (if not the best horse)

Owning a horse and riding a horse are not the same. Pebbles is canonically Jindřich's property I never disagreed with it. But Jindřich could never ride a Pebbles for a single second. So all that "Old Friend" stuff looks like not sewn mare's tail.

No, far from the best.

Just, best carrying capacity. But when it comes to bravery or stamina?

Nope. Pisek Lad.
It’s……PEBBBBBBLEEES

What does culturology have to with what’s canon in a video game? And what your saying makes absolutely no sense at all, that’s like saying mutt isn’t Henry dog if you just decide to leave him in rattay, the game and the developers have decided that pebbles is Henry’s canon horse, who do you think you are to try and correct the developers of the game? Just cause you have some silly little degree that has nothing to do with the subject you think you’re all smart, and about the hitting in the face thing I would absolutely relish in the idea of seeing you try it my little keyboard warrior

it's her, Pebbles is female.

Other than that: Putting her courage aside the best horse is probably either Pebbles or Herring.
That being said, Courage won't be a problem at some point anymore, and horse combat is less than ideal anyway.

Good to know. I prefer Napoli with its white mane and decent speed and courage.
I've been using upgraded Pebbles for a long time (really good horse imho), until I came to a bunch of money and found Pisek Lad in Kuttenberg. You lose a little bit of stamina, which is pretty much irrelevant with some riding perks, but you gain capacity, speed and courage.

i've been using the black horse with braided mane that can be found at the camp where you're ambushed to start the game
Stats?

Messaggio originale di Mouse Rat:
I got mark. worth it to open up the map. also really good carry.
i payed 5k ingame before
keystone quest, that gives a cost reduction buff for the stables, if you give it to the dudes wife
What are its stats?

Mark has the second best carry capacity ingame without being much worse in the rest, besides courage..
it's not a horse you do melee combat on..

in between the best saddle + him + me we carry over 900 kgs of stuff.
he also has really good stamina so you can keep him at max speed for extended periods.

not the top speed, but yea it's a trade off.

That's a no-go for me, since I like to do mounted combat sometimes.
It's definitely Pebbles 2.0 unless you want an actual warhorse.

400 capacity, 51 speed and 230 stamina are all in the top rankings.
