The devs should have used this combat arena with Tomcat to completely polish the combat experience. Instead, they vector players to this NPC and leave them with a frustrating experience that doesn't teach combat effectively.
i keep having the same issue, in the "up,right, left" i have been trying for over an hour.
is there a fix?
It could also maybe just maybe mean that you can't pick up on the combat ques and do as he is telling you?
I've done that , had no problems.
Literally just did what he said, no other inputs on my part, not trying to "win" combat with him.. just followed the tutorial.
Until you get to kick his ass, then go crazy.
Except the game itself doesn't lend itself to this as you need to sleep or use a consumable to save. Betting on the Save&Quit future is questionable
