Can't talk to some NPC quest givers

[Slight spoilers for Kuttenberg region]

I can't seem to talk to Foreman Vlach or Chenyek in Kuttenberg. It says they have quests for me but there's no option to talk.

Is it something that activates later in the story? I've only finished finding Dry Devil's companions, I haven't started the quest to find Liechtenstein.

Any help or insight is appreciated, thanks!

I thought it was a glitch but its not.

For Chenyek, you need to advance slightly more through the main story then you can talk to him.

For Foreman Vlach, he won’t talk to you when he’s at work, you need to talk to him while he’s at the Black Horse Inn past 6pm

Still cant, i guess thats a bug, their story is done when he gave you his hat ig.

I had to wait for a courier to appear when I was fast travelling telling me Chenyek wanted to speak to me. Progressed through his quests and it's happening again, quest marker and no way to talk to him. Hoping I just need to wait for another courier

You can look up on Wiki and see NPCs quests if you are done with him, i done everything with Chenyek and he is still marked with quest.

I literally can’t even choose my play style at the start, I’m on a brand new legion 5 laptop using a ps5 controller nothing I am pressing is confirming my choice? Looked at all the key binds etc and have tried every button, I’ve even restarted my game and nothing is working.

Any ideas what I can do

I can't get Kona in Grund to talk to me. I mean she did once but I never got her quest but the icon is still on her head. :\

Only know of 2 so far.

One is the chick with her depressive husband, and then there's the inn maid in Kuttenberg which shows a quest marker but I can only trade with her.

You walk by him in the inn and he calls you over. Happended to me when i was setting a trap for goatskin.
Havent done the quest yet.
But it does work. You cant talk to him.otherwise

I think the funniest part about this thread, that's the very first google result, is the exact same scenario even with the exact same progression point.
