This is just terrible . Why didn't we get some sort of bedroll or hell even the ability to sleep on the ground , could have reduced the effectiveness . It's frustrating to have to fast travel back to a bed and then back where you were ,and the day hours fly by . Seems so unrealistic and time consuming .

What if I told you fast travel is disabled in hardcore mode :laughing_yeti:
You can sleep on ground if you pass out...
I just went to bed in the old womans hut again. She has previously saved my life, been my friend, let me sleep in this bed and Ive agreed to find her lost daughter. But now shes calling the guards on me for sleeping in the same bed.

Same thing happened to me, I ended up in the stocks for that one. Then again in the nomads' camp near the lake, they actually attacked me for sleeping there. Fortunately I had a recent save that time. I wasn't trespassing and didn't see any other indication that sleeping there was not allowed for some reason. I never had this happen in the first game. Am I missing something or is this a bug?
same with the old lady , must be a bug because the bed icon shows on the map , besides the old bag is supposed to be blind . AND I've been running all over kingdom come to find her daughter .. no wonder everyone hates her

The bed you're supposed to sleep on later is the one Hans was on to the left (when entering the hut) of the door. Not the bed you are in during the intro part. If a bed doesn't say Sleep and Save, it's not yours and don't ever sleep in it

Yeah, I'll give you this one for sure. KCD II should give you the ability to sleep practically anywhere, but with a huge penalty if it's the bare ground or something. It is frustrating being in the middle of no where trying to find a bed.

They specifically don't want you to be able to rest anywhere. But making a camp might have been a good idea though
So, they haven fixed that issue?

I remember that from KCD1.
There's that quest were you have to save an entire viallge from a 'plaque'. Everyone is dying. You have to inspect the sick people, travel around, havbe to find a recipe for the 'remedy', brew it, travel back, distribute, it... and then wait a while.
And everyone is soooo super happy that you just saved them. All of them. They are so thank full...
So when you are there, super exhausted from all the hasty travelling, and have to wait a day anyway, so you are are like "let me just sit down here in your kitchen for a while" everyone goes completly nuts. Sleeping on a bench that isnt his? Guards! Kill this monster!
I had to kill everyone in the village I had just saved, because they wouldnt let me sleep anywhere in the whole settlement.

Isn't it realistic that she has dementia? Meanwhile it has been weeks in game yet the guards still chase me on sight for the lute.
