Quests are a F joke - go fetch ( you are Mutt in this game )
I get look up in my on room every time if u do not sleep till day light and if u look-pick u are a criminal in your on F home
The F dog barks all the time
The dog go inside buildings u get punish for that - so many time i was cheating with a npc the dog got inside i was punish cause i trespassing
NPC reset conversation and u need to speak with them all the time

NPC that u need to chat with them they attack you
OMG the list is f long as a toilet paper roll
At one point u get so op that u one shot allot of npc
Story and quests contradicts them self all the time , feels like the writer did not chat with the game designer
There is no synergy in quest and the bugs OMG the F bugs i have recorder allot them till now i have over 200 bugs and im not talking about graphical bugs i talk about quests and game braking bugs , so many times i got F buy the game

total disappointment
Do not treat this game as a open world RPG this is a walking talking simulator , in 60h i have the same armor the same weapon all u do in this game is sit and watch npc talk
For instance if you 'rob' everyone before doing quest objectives or you murder some people before triggering things, etc.
If in 60 hours you have the same weapon and armor then you really are not playing it good.
Or they simply refuse to heal so the duel begins and then ends immediately. Also one of the NPCs decided to bring fists to the longsword duel, and couldn't figure out how to go and stand in his corner for the second duel.
At one point I got frustrated for not being able to continue so I put bane poison in the wine and even though a bunch of people drank it, none of them died but instead had permanent no health - one of the guys I duelled in this state was unkillable, but I think I won the duel simply based on performance alone?
In the end I kept having to wait 24 hours to get the duel to advance where it'd stall, it was the only way to get through it, and it didn't always work, sometimes fights would conclude as if I lost them, or the tournament would just straight up fail. At one point (I guess because I didn't have a torch equipped due to the tournament equipping gear on me?) I annoyed the nearby guard and he tried to arrest me, causing the announcer to scream about how a terrible crime had been committed so the duel was over lol. What a mess!
Got through it in the end but what should have been a fun thing for 15 minutes took about two hours of trial and error until it let me finish it.
Rewards weren't really worth it anyway.
Another bug that cost me like a whole session was a random bodyguard in the Apothecary went into "search mode" during the quest where we had to carry the standard through town, I think fighting at the bar annoyed him? Harmless until the clock struck midnight and then I'd suddenly get a bounty for 24,000 groschen for stealing from a "trader" lol. Is it all of my unresolved crimes I've committed across the game somehow unclogging from some internal pipeline? I've not robbed anywhere in Kuttenburg and haven't touched the Apothecary or the bodyguard!
After painstakingly searching the entire town looking for whoever it was who was giving me the permanent searching icon, I found him upstairs, naked, and stuck in the animation for searching a chest. He was zooming around the upstairs while in that pose, it was funny. I killed him and the search thing finally went away and thankfully the bounty being given at midnight also didn't happen. What the hell though, lol.
I feel like he became suspicious from the sounds of fighting and checked his chest for stolen goods, and glitched out somehow, maybe detecting all of the stolen goods from across the entire game so far that I never got justice for, and somehow the game auto-reported it all to a guard at midnight because he was stuck? Crazy.
Otherwise Kuttenburg has been fine for me. A bit annoyed that Jezhek went back to being a bandit (and keeps stopping me with random events too!) after I resolved his questline by giving him his stuff back though. He was supposed to go reconcile with his brother! Is this a bug or is he just a skilled charlatan?
You can make it tier 4 after it’s no longer a quest item. So you gotta hold onto the sword until way later without upgrading it.
This is exactly the bug happening, it's just Goatskin respawning in a loop so you have to kill him. Follow the steps in this post and you should be able to get rid of it:

Also, I have 254 hours in KCD2 so far and I've only just reached Kuttenberg. First playthrough. And yeah, I landed on this thread as I've potentially got a bug (trader at the blacksmith has no option at all to interact / trade / dialogue), so I was Googling to see if it was something others had experienced.
But honestly, even if I find that "entering Kuttenberg has unleashed Pandora's Box Of Bugs" upon the game, and I now have to wait a few months for it to be fixed... that's fine. For $90 AUD / $60 USD, to already have approx 250 hours of enjoyment from this masterpiece feels like an absolute steal. In Australia, I would pay around $3 AUD for a can of Coke, which I'd enjoy for maybe 30 minutes. To make that the equivalent of $90 AUD, that would be 30 cans of coke, so let's say 30 cans x 30 minutes of enjoyment = 900 minutes / 60 = 15 hours of total enjoyment for $90 AUD.
15 hours.
250 hours.
And yes, I used Coke (Coca-Cola, in case you don't call it Coke where you're from... not sure if that's just an Aussie thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) as a very elementary example intentionally to make the concept easier to grasp, but ultimately, it's an incredible product for its price and despite the upsetting amount of unwarranted and undeserved entitlement many people seem to have these days, Warhorse are still proudly burning through their own cash reserves to keep paying their team to ensure KCD2 does-not-fail to be the masterpiece they wanted it to be.
If you understand why KCD1 was created in the first place, it would make a lot more sense and you would have a lot more respect.
