Regarding the serious bug in NPC Strnad related to "Zdena the third's fate" in the side quest "The Fifth Command"

When I tried to advance the side quest 'The Fifth Commandment', the task asked me to “Learn more about Zdena the thief‘s fate.” and had me talk to Strnad to advance the mission. However, during my conversation, I tried to persuade him, and then Strnad asked me to pay 30 Groschen. Although I had the corresponding money on me, I wanted to try if there were any other solutions, so I temporarily refused the request. Later, I found that when I tried to talk to Strnad again, I couldn't interact. At first, I thought it might be that Strnad needed some time to reply and be able to talk, so I went ahead and dealt with other things first. After about 3 days, I tried again, but still failed, and Strnad would stay in place and keep spinning, so I thought it was highly likely that a bug had been triggered. I later tried to knock Strnad unconscious and move it elsewhere, or punch him with my fist, but no matter what, he would return to his fixed position and continue spinning in a non talking state. Has anyone encountered a similar problem and provide some experience in solving it?

Yeah im having this issue too. I cant reload a save as I have already done a significant amount of stuff now

I beat him up on the first go (I always chose an option to beat up NPCs for XPs) and it was fine. Load the save before that and punch him in the noggin.

I just ran into this bug also. If you don't pay or pass the skill checks on the first attempt, it bugs the whole quest and you can't proceed. Very big problem, needs to be fixed. I might have to roll back a save and that would cost me like two hours of save time. Sucks. [Edit] Yeah, I had to roll back the save.
