Cooking and Smoking Bug / Error

So suddenly Henry is not able to cook nor smoke any food, the menu lets me select the items and all but when I confirm it does not play the animation, nothing happens and the food stays raw or uncooked.

I have already reloaded the game, verified it and restarted it. Nothing seems to work, have you had this problem? have you found any fix for it?

Did you install any mods? If yes, which ones?

I managed to fix it, I know EXACTLY what broke that mechanic for me. It was getting that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Brunswick helmet, as soon as I put it on, every cooking, drying and smoking mechanic stopped working altogether. So I had to reload a previous save.

wtf xD. I cant confirm that directly, but I certainly was using that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Brunswick helmet when it didnt work.

And a few ingame days ago i switched to another helmet and now smoking, drying seems to work again.

This is the curse of Brunswick.

Make sure you both report it to devs through proper channels so it can get fixed.

I'm about to do that quest so will see if it is the same for me.

Strange but I have been cooking, smoking and drying food with no issues at all while wearing the Brunswick helmet today.
