When you reach the quest with sir Jan and his bro, do let me know how easy it is.
i've funneled them into that pathway where his bro is , and kill them one by one there with pots. very curious if anybody can just take them 1 vs 10+ in open since they are quite skilled, and your 1 ally folds real quick
Second as far as difficulty was
Mathiew the collector band in the open 10ish duders. not all armored , some died in 1 hit
You can poison their food in their camp , but i took them in the open
It makes sense in regards to progression, but you're in Act 1 and during the wedding part the only enemies you can fight besides guards are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bandits. I've just entered into act 2 post the wedding and I've just been leveling archery so I can't yet speak to harder enemies but I bet eventually I'll be fighting dudes in full plate armor that require a bit more skill to cut apart.
Stamina was never really a problem. You just need to household smartly, don't rush into fights, be aware of your surroundings and move use your space, take advantage of your enemies weapon reach.
Of course, I died a few times but far less than expected.
Except one particular main mission that was wrecking my head for a long time as everyone in my band decided to bite the dust almost instantly leaving me alone with a ton of enemies in the open field.. God I hated that one.
You get thrown more plate armor at you as you could ever possibly carry relatively early in game so as long as you wont get surrounded it's quite a walk in the park. Fist fights? - Enjoy breaking your fingers on my plate. Wolfes? - Yeah doggo, ever tried to bite through a steel can?
You also get your hands on a certain longsword quite early which is fantastic and I used it till end of the story next to a short sword shield combo for tighter spaces like rooms, gangways etc.
Later on I sometimes didn't even bother to wear heavy armor on travels and opted for a "noble traveler" attire with lot's of bling for Charisma.
Plate armor and alike are far to common in this world that wasn't something every peasant just had lying around. In kcd2 it's as common as getting the syphilis for the time which is sad.
I mean Henry.. even though he's a btard son of a noble with slightly higher standing should be feeling like winning the lottery when getting his hands on some plate.
tl;dr: I think the whole games was/is a bit to easy and forgiving.
That's the issue, I was replaying KCD1 recently so I have strong muscle memory for 'q' to block and master strike. It being done with right click in KCD2 is throwing me off. Not sure when I'll adjust.
Eh, I'll just keep playing and will adjust when I adjust. Don't need combat training, it's not like I die every fight because of it :P
