Weapon swap glitch?

Playing on PC using Xbox controller, had no issues with swapping weapons for the first 10 hours or so. Now all of a sudden I cant change between crossbow and sword, i literally have to equip only what I want to use from the inventory, which is a bit of a pain in the arse. Is there anything i'm missing or just a bug I have to deal with?

Had this issue as well, I just quit save and jump back in the game and it’s fixed. A bit annoying to have to do it but it works u til devs patch this bug.

Ps5 controller is the same sometimes it works others it doesnt.

Same, but using the xbox controller. Restarting ther game usually helps.

It's glitch out when you use mouse or keybord even once when you have cotroller connected.

When it appen . just tap your mouse (move your mouse a little) .. it will fix the controller.

Same here. The only fix is to reload and hope it does not bug out again,

I finally managed to fix this. I simply disconnected the mouse that I had connected to the Xbox, and it started to work again. Must be some controller conflict there.
