Blacksmithing Quality not going past 2.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get above tier 2 at like Craftsmanship 28. Is it quest gated or something? I made the first sword at tier 4 and now it's tier 2 forever.

Henry is whistling his head off in a shower of sparks and it's just silver, silver, silver and more silver.

Is there something else you're supposed to do to get this to work? Everyone with videos online doesn't seem to be having any trouble.

Two hours of trying and now it's a post to see what I'm doing wrong hopefully.

Check the sword after you finish. There is a bug that it can show that the level you made is 1 bellow but a proper level 3 or 4 will be added to the inventory, but unfortunately there is a bug when level 4 cannot be achieved:
And of course it's for the damned Radzig Sword reforged! So frustrating

That is very good advice, but I am moving the hammer around unfortunately. I'll see if it's this bug that Adenydd is talking about, I never checked my inventory.

within the first 20 seconds of this video i open up my inventory and you can see a lvl 4 sword.

which type of sword? maybe some of them might be locked behind quality..like a lvl 4 master quality home made hunting words might not be possible.

It's the visual bug. It was totally a higher quality, it just shows up in the screen at the end of the smithing that it was 2.
