Not much actually. The thing is, they're wrong as Hans is clearly, VERY clearly shown to be an adult man BUT the game does state the year AND also states "Hans" would be 15 during this year.

They know he's an adult, they know all claims of so called CP is factually wrong BUT due to Hans in the game being based on an actual historical figure they do actually have that ever sought after "Gotcha" moment they can tell themselves matters. The argument is dumb BUT they do actually have something they can use to try and create the only thing they're after (Rage) so this isn't like the hilarious "UNSKIPPABLE GAY SCENE!!!" they screeched about.

You know, laws aren't the pinackle of moral.

There is no child pornography in this game, not even one scene on this.

The game merely portrays a love story between two dudes.

Why don't you complain about 14 and 15 years olds getting married in Western Europe ? Focus on some real world problems, if this can even be considered a problem.

They aged up Hans and Henry to nearly 30 for the game, and people are going by the codex entry, that states Hans was 15 during the period in History. But of course, he isnt in the actual game.

Vavra's tweets seem to suggest that Hans is a teenager and under 18. Vavra could of course say "We aged him up" but instead he goes on a tangent about how women married at the age of 12.

Steam employees are not required to play through every game in their store.

The codex in the original game was pretty crappy.

Hans is clearly a young man from the very start. He is not a child in any way (beyond his behaviour, of course). Only a fifteen year old could possibly imagine that Hans and Henry were fifteen years old.

As for "pornography", that's a laugh - my Henry has had sex about five times so far and I've never seen so much as a glimpse of side-boob.

Vavra's response was basically pointing out that most girls married at 12 in Europe at the time and that it was normal.

But that's not a defense or argument against depictions of sexual relationships between children and adults. It would have been illegal if it were a 15 year old girl as well. And I think both Steam and various government agencies would have taken a much more heavy handed approach.

In my country, Norway, it's a clear violation of the penal code §311.

This is just utter nonsense. I've played the game. Hans is nothing like any fifteen year old I have ever met.
He was Hanush's ward, and people were already talking about the scandal over Hans being of age, yet deemed not ready to lead. He and Henry are clearly young men.

All of this nonsense about "child pornography" is internet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
