Other games run fine and I'm 99% sure it's not a PSU problem or anything regarding my PC.
This don't mean ♥♥♥♥. This is so over used and completely wrong. Other game running fine doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That's not how PC gaming works.
Fact is yes something is wrong with ur system. PC restarting from playing a game even if it's just one. Should be a red flag telling u something ain't right with ur system..
U even mentioned having to hard reset ur PC using the button. That is a definite sign something is wrong with ur system. Can be as simple as outdated drivers
U mention 2 red flags that signal a rig issue. One is a dead giveaway the hard reset
Do u have ur drivers updated. Kcd2 at least for Nvidia had driver support day of launch
Processor ManufacturerIntel Core i7-6700
Graphics Card: GPU ManufacturerAMD Radeon RX 6600
Memory: 32 GB RAM
Got heating issue, fix that: got cooler, from 80c to now around 50-60c
Thought ssd had a problem, got a new ssd.
Bench my cpu for 30 minutes no problem. Bench ram: NO problem. Bench gpu: no PROBLEM. Bench PSU: NO PROBLEM.
I even did a clean install of amd driver. Got into safe mode, uninstall the drive using DDU. Back to window, install the adreneline driver.
So the problem lies with KCD2 not optimized for amd cards. Something in the code when trigger ♥♥♥♥ the system and send it to restart!

Also have AMD; R 7700x and RX 6900, running the game on Ultra settings in 4k without issues with the last drivers from November (version 24.12.1). 68 hours in, not a single crash.
Yeah I checked it MULTIPLE times yeah? For 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ days yeah? It said miscelenious issue, but I bench my GPU, if it does have it issue, wouldn't that happen in my 1 hour bench???
Ok I calm down, thank you for the suggestion, I have check it again, carefully.
The issue is Kernel-Power. The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
I will further investigate
I rule out the PSU because using occt, I bench it again for 15 minutes, full power, runs like a dream.
Yea I know right? It’s so annoying how devs refuse to optimize games for 10 year old quad core CPUs and budget Radeon cards. 😭😭😭
So after properly connecting the wire, everything works like a dream, the part the used to sent my pc restarting(after autosave number 10: Have breakfast with everyone), now runs smoothly without a problem.
Listin to the lads, if you're pc having critical error number 41: Kernel-power, it's a hardware problem, your rig have a problem.
This problem took me 5 days to troubleshoot and 8 months to fix HOLY ♥♥♥♥
After uninstalling MSI afterburner, I went into my number 1 crash test savefile(after autosave number 10: Have breakfast with everyone), test and it ran for 5 minutes without breaking a sweat
