It depends on when you asked. If you asked before the game was in the top 10 charts, it was woke as hell and really bad because of it.
If you're asking now, then it's not woke because now the optional gay sex and the existence of black people of color isn't a problem anymore but that's totally unrelated to the game being a success after the fact (according to the chuds that were complaining about woke)

"Woke" isn't the reason for the success. Go look at the reviews. No mention of woke in anything positive for people who invested over 10 hours before reviewing.

In BG3 you can make a "B body Type" character with a generous bossom and a penis and then select they/them pronouns to be addressed with through the whole game.

Regarded as the best RPG in history by many critics, and by far the best game of its genre of all time in all metrics.

I've seen hardly anyone claim is is a success because it is woke.
