So the trick to combat is just stamina?

So all you need do is don’t let stamina get too low? Just attack the unguarded part of an enemy, perfect block but don’t counter if stamina is low? Is that the trick? I think I worked it out

Basically yes. Just like in the first game your armor becomes almost useless if you don´t have stamina.

So what you do is backpedal so only only guy is infron of you and can hit you at a time and then masterstrike him. Still seems to be the best strategy.
