I heard the combat sucks balls vs more than 1 enemy, is this true?
And is this better than the first game?

It is accurately shown that combat with more than one is damned hard.
Combat is pretty different than most games.. just takes a bit to get used to really.. until then yeah it can feel a bit clunky.. but once you get the hang of it then it works pretty well.

Its slightly easier than the original game but basically the same system.
sucks yes but can learn and be very rewarding.
You have to fight strategic. Just yesterday I beat 3 guys and 1 archer with the most basic sword you can find. Circle them and be sure that between you and the archer is always at least one of the close range enemies. Always try to position yourself so that only one enemy is able to fully swing at you. It is a dance basically.
The problem is managing stamina. Even fighting just one guy he can deplete my stamina in 3 or 4 of my blocks, which means I cant get away to let it regen or hit or block anymore. Same with my hits, 3 or 4 & stamina is gone.
Master Strike = all fights easy

if you do perfect blocks it doesnt cost stamina (or if it does you regen it fast enough) but riposting will burn your stamina up pretty quick

Atleast they changed the master strike system, it now adds an element of skill to pull off.
Reviews say that you don't understand the combat system even after 75+ hours.

Also no gore. No body parts are cut off, as you can see in ALL medieval pictures.
AND, no hit feedback, exactly the same hit feedback and animations as in TES4 Oblivion 2006

Oblivion remake is to be announced soon.
I'm very interested to see what the meadows and forests look like and what the combat system will be like.
+ DAEDRA Gothic Fiction Genre
+ own built character, not an UNPLEASANT Heinrich

I play light armour and pick perks to compliment it, very lightweight, no shield. Also when you perfect block it doesnt cost you stam, so dont always riposte when you block just wait a second or two and you should have no problem. The key to combat is keeping stamina up.

There is blood in this game dude. Stop being influenced by videos and play the game if you are interested.

thats probably what i should do. I covered myself in armour because at the start of teh game I kept getting bled to death. now i lose too much stamina in combat

Its still Kingdom Come combat, I'll say that. Fighting Wolves is less fun than hoomans. But regardless, its not really a combat RPG like Skyrim. It's got a more realistic slant, where in real life you wouldnt, and couldnt just pummel all your problems away. Much better solutions than the sword.

You can put some armour on, like a helmet and some others. Later on armour weight becomes less of an issue.
