Storm quest is laughably bad
Some of the patrols path directly to you, I thought I was going crazy until I managed to continue circling a boulder and they continued to "coincidentally" do loops around the boulder and then after I made a break for it returned to "coincidentally" pathing toward me. Come on guys, what the hell is that.

For the first part to the boulders, I hugged the right side of the area, using a lot of stones and bushes. They definitely do follow your path on purpose but you just have to use that to your advantage and force the patrol following you in a loop (around a rock, tree, or in my case a ledge) to get past him.

Once I made it to the first objective, I made my way to the camp fairly easily. I went back up to the right side of the area, and scaled as far right of the hills as possible. There seemed to be less guards and it was easier to get around them.

After untying the poor soul at the camp, I went to the grass fields & forests to the far right and found there were no guards the entire way to the wagon & horses.

I hope that helps... I prolly just got lucky.

tldr; stay as far right as possible, seemed to be less guards and when approached by one, they are easier to get past.

Why is everybody saying to stay to the far right? I try to go to the right when leaving the tunnel, and there's nothing but untraversable rocks and stones, endless amounts of guards, just like everywhere else, and invisible walls.

Where exactly are you going to the right that allows to just waltz past everybody?

How are you just walking through massive boulders and hills like some sorta ghost?

How are you going this direction and not running into endless patrols?

I just don't understand. Everything everbody says about this mission does not match up to waht I'm faced with in game.
Is it the early one where you're escaping with Hans?
I found a small nook in the rock wall with a bush, which I was able to hide in and let the guard walk past me.

I think sometimes you have to backtrack to get the guards on a different pathing/position and then try again.

every time you see an enemy throw a stone to distract them (g by default), you cant hide they have bloodhound skills. Never stop moving, it doesn't mater what part of the map you go on as some stated, they are not static, they spawn wherever you are
I am gonna be honest. I stealth killed who I could and rest was just a brute force through with my sword.

My first 67 tries to beat the mission i tried this, the chance of actually stealth killing was lousy and the stamina pool drains so fast.... i almost uninstalled, but between this and a few other points in the game really killed the game for me. I went from in love to... lets just get it over with.

It's meant to be.
You can let them path you if you hide in the bushes.
I've gone down the other side , then pushed back up for the first checkpoint where the dude is tied up.
Then again move down.

I don't think there is a perfect pathing atm, just do your best to avoid the patrols.

After that i went on top of the map and then walk till the entrance.
Jesus. Did anyone playtest this part of the quest? I doubt a single person has made it through without save quitting constantly. It's not fun. I'm ready to throw my computer out the window and play something else.
I really enjoyed how devs decided to "implement" their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics into THE MAIN game, its great to have stealth missions after some HUGE BATTLES, its kinda like yeah, the knight, pick up all your heavy armor and now go and do stealth, thats just some Monthy Python ♥♥♥♥
I thought from the very start of the game choosing to play as a knight, advisor or scout would have some sort of influance on the game but it has abselutly zero beside the added skill point from the beginin thats it i choose to play as a knight not some kinda Ninja detective trying to make everyone like me as if that was the main thing no its the mission before the man stop forcing me into somekinda ambassedor.

Not gonna lie, I got so mad that the guards were obviously programmed to know exactly where you were that I just used Wemod and turned on godmode/one shot kills. I probably retried around 50 times before I pulled out the nuclear option though.

How did you get Wemod to work? I cant get it to actually apply any effects.
