Godwin is a mistake.

I want nothing to do with this character, and making me play him instead of Henry is the biggest buzzkill after such a big battle. I'm already bored, and it's been 5 seconds of playing Godwin.

Look Godwin was one of my favorite character's from the first game... But I certainly did not want to play as him.... I want to play as Henry and Only Henry.... So yes the times I am forced to switch to Godwin sucked but I powered thru them, It might have been better if I could have actually did something with Godwin's gear so he felt more like my character and not a plot device I am getting stuck with....

So again I like the character but definately disliked being forced into playing as him.....

Who the **** was like "I WANNA PLAY AS GODWIN MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE SEQUEL AND HAVE HIS STORY BREAK UP THE FLOW AND PACE OF THE GAME! WOOO GODWIN!"

I literally just put the game down because I did the main quest that leads to his first (happens multiple times so **** that) gameplay section (not counting the tutorial).

Honestly, I just don't give a **** about Godwin and I do not know if I will even pick the game up again to finish it.

It's like if a batman game had a section where for 30 mins you play as Alfred cleaning the house.

It could have been a cutscene, it SHOULD have been a cutscene.

Yeah Godwin was a funny guy in KCD1, I don't want to play as him, I want to play as Henry, and no offense to the Godwin actor, I do not give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about his character in the sequel.

People are crapping on this for the same reason people crapped on the Mary Jane sections in Spiderman, because they are boring, railroaded sections that could have and should have just been a cutscene.

Godwin is one of the greatest side-characters from the first game and I was happy to briefly play as him. He's awesome!

Henry isn't a blank slate

Yes he is. You as the player get to define his entire life trajectory whereas Godwin has already lived a full life.
