Why can't I go to inside churches?

How come all the churches are blocked off or non-enterable? I haven't been inside any church or cathedral and I've explored both regions. The hell is this?

This is literally my only disappointment with the game, but it's a pretty big one. It breaks the immersion when I organically desire to go to a church for whatever reason only to realize they aren't real.

What was the answer?

His answer was the team didn't have time to build inside Christian churches.

He said they didn't have time to build the interiors in the quality and care they deserve.

IIRC years ago, when KCD1 came out, he said it took them over a year to fully build the handful (three?) of churches that are in the game. And there are a good dozen churches in KCD2, plus a cathedral. They didn't want to do a sloppy job so they didn't do it at all.

OMG plz guys stop, we want a historical representation of 1403. And there were gays present, so its fine, and just adds to the freedom you have as a player. ITS WHAT WE WANT; OPTIONS IN AN RPG; GUYS HELP PPL DONT LIKE GAMES WITH OPTIONS! EA MADE THEM MINDLESS DRONES!
Think a bit for yourself. the game has incredible detail. The church was the one institution who had immense wealth and presented it. Do you see the murals on the walls?
Now imagine a church which has more detail than most or any other buildings in this time.
And think about what people do quests or npcs and what people do art! oh man

Do you think that every possible romance option is canonical?

You can go on a pilgrimage and pray on the shrines. You also be able to visit and talk to most priests. So you can not go into the church buildings, be happy that the doors are closed. Otherwise Youtube would be full of videos where players rob, kill and vandalize in those churches. And the robbing and vandalization part is the exact reason why church doors in Europe are locked today, outside of active church mass.

there is a perk that gives you a massive buff if you pray daily, i would say that does encurage christian practice

Sure thats why they implemented a perk that lets you pray at specific spots for buffs and the ability to pray for Hans and some other guy during the story? What a bunch of bs.

Let's we all agree that no interiors in the game is because Warhorse is antichristian company.

Yes I know it's not true, but just so grifters have no material to grift about any more.
Yeah I know, they'll start preaching then that lack of checzh endemic birds in the game is Warhorse being antitaxidermic or whatever other facebook conspiracy theory.
As long as they get clicks on garbage, it's great.
