Hello there,
Simple as that:
She is an Angel. ;)
Think about this point /perspective of view.
Has nothing to do with specific Grim Reaper or Death or even any demonic energy.
According the Kabbalah an Angel is just a Messenger, sent by G"d(haShem) who has no own will but that one from haShem itself. So an Angel will strictly follow the orders of G"d and by doing so, any Angel or "Messenger" will also carry out the order to bring death among and upon humanty. And for this, any Angel can turn into anything - but not as they want or would like to, this "willpower" is given and controlled by G"d only. Means: Women, Men, Children and even Animals, everything is possible..
They can even get into Rocks, Trees or whatever needed, to assure and complish their Mission, given my haShem.
Just wanted to mention that.
Personaly I think the DEVS of WARHORSE wanted to bring in this aspect of Theology into KC:D2, due Religion and Theology was a very high topic at this time. :)
Therefore I also think that in Christianity there is a pretty similar topic or point of view on this. The Islam has a quite similar topic on that as we do. With the Djin/Din etc.
Have a nice game, folks!
Greetings from,
PAL
Mainly because she mentions that she knows Henry and his past, people "come to her with many problems" (as usually people pray to Saints etc when they are facing problems), and that she was busy during Skalitz raid, as in people were praying to Christ and Virgin Mary to salvage their souls or save them from the wrath of Cummans.
Only woman random event I’ve come across is the lady in red trying to scam her way into finding a rich husband.
It's interesting that this encounter doesn't seem to occur in a purposeful manner. If I were putting off a quest where I ran a considerable chance of dying, then this would make more sense. Instead, all I need to do right now is tell the miller about the saltpeter pit.
It being completely random is odd, and rather enchanting. I hope I see her again, I adore any plot device that forces us to reckon with mortality.
Followed her until the path ahead had someone traveling the road - a Mercenary. Killed them. Lady Death passed right by them, no reaction, nothing. Makes me question if she's really death vs. just a simple half-baked rando encounter without anything more attached to it.
♥♥♥♥, I can't stop feeling chills down my spine because of this.
After the quest you can find him in Miskowitz and he gives you a little exp for your speech skill.
Yeah just like in KCD1 there's nothing directly supernatural, but a few things that can appear supernatural which suits well the atmosphere of superstitious medieval world
