NVIDIA KILLED MY FPS

Hi, I played on nvidia 566.33 drivers or something like that. Was on high in 1440p with dlss on quality about 80 fps in fields and about 60 in cities. Today I decided to upgrade to the new latest drivers 572.16 and my fps dropped to 60 in fields and 40 in cities on the same settings. What to do? I tried to update vindows, rollback drivers, put older dlss, put high performance in power, andervoltnu video card, disable SMT at the processor, and nothing helped me :).

By the way, even in the menu I have everything is very strange, before updating the drivers I had 120-130 fps in the menu, and now there is as if locked at 55 fps, my friend has no such problem, although he also updated the drivers today. But to be fair after the driver update DLSS became much clearer and cooler, less gosting, better sharpness, but I want my FPS back. Tried to put 1280x720 resolution with DLSS on quality, and got a boost of 7 fps xD Now instead of 60 I had 67. Daniel Vavra, thank you so much.

Can you tell me what to do?

Ryzen 7 7700
32gb RAM 5600
RTX 4060 ti 8GB

I fixed that. After update nvidia 572.16 my processor just died and he working like intel core i5 4440, core have low loading and I fix this just update my bios on motherboard...... I DONT KNOW HOW ITS WORKING, BUT ITS WORKING, try it guys

try delete your shader cache C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Saved Games\kingdomcome2\shaders\cache

Avoid nvidia driver updates. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. Wait until things aren’t working well. Let everyone else test new drivers.

if nvidia broke it for you you should be on the nvidia forums then, i am running the latest drivers myself and haven't had a issue with it yet i do wish i could be of any help at all

I use a old Nvidia driver (I never update). I never ad any problem with any game. Reading all those tread about bug and problem, it scare me to think about updating.

yea this, unless you have a problem it's definitely don't mess with the wheel if it's turning

Deleting the shader cache fixed the problem for me. Went from 60FPS max back to 180+

Why do people think they need 120+fps? There's been countless scientific studies done that show even the most extraordinary humans can't perceive anything above 90 with 60 being the general average. Getting upset about something you can't even physically see is wild

If you have a monitor with 165hz isn't the same that a monitor with 60hz, obiysly if you have a monitor with only 60hz is ridiculous play with more than 60 fps because you only gonna see 60hz
