How the actual ♥♥♥♥ are you supposed to beat this mission?

Cant do the skill check on the champlain in the kitchen because I have like 3 charisma with none of my clothing

if you mess up and get caught during any of this you have to restart the entire mission

guards are in almost every single room making stealth impossible and if they catch you once they forever search for you

I am watching a tutorial on this quest and I have to ask myself how they hell is anyone supposed to know how to do any of the steps on this quest without bashing their head into a wall for hours trying to run past guards?

I cannot see how this game has gotten such I high review with gameplay like this

Honestly sorry to say but this is a skill issue.

I had zero experience in stealth and barely any in speech. You can knock out every single guard and throwing rocks is practically a cheat code. I beat it in about 3 fails total. Im seeing this quest get popped up as overly difficult but it really isnt if you've been paying attention to the other mechanics other than combat.

you dont even need to go into the big kitchen after you unlock the spice chest for the cook after you have access to the small kitchen for the guards there is 1 guy in there that wants something to eat you give him an apple and the happily chomps down on it facing a corner so you already are 2/3 in the big tower and the guy on the stairs can be lured away with a stone (press g when sneaking)

I completed this quest totally different.

*SPOILERS*
Right off the bat I hauled ONE sack of flour and snooped around and saw I could climb down the well you walk by. This leads you right to Hans. You then have to sneak through the castle and find a few people and things. With minimal sneaking skills and using the new "pebble throw" ability ('G' on PC) you can distract guards pretty easily and get the mission done.

I think you can also use survival skill to diagnose him?
