Drying rack bug

I have herbs and food in my inventory, i go to a drying rack, i select all my items, see that they have a golden arrow on them, click the correct confirm button (in my case "x"), no animation happens, none of my items are exchanged for dried versions. the drying rack simply doesn't work for me. Anyone have any ideas?

try going to an earlier save to see if its something you did
game is very buggy atm things like my skills are showing 3-4 more levels than they actually are and cant pick perks at my level and stuff. game is a bug fest

Not had an issue with Drying Rack yet but I only Dry one type of thing ie nettles at a time, never even bothered to try everything at once, maybe that's your mistake.

Hello, i see on reddit same bug and i have that too,but reddit man save my game,i going to tomcat fighter trainer or ♥♥♥♥♥,doesn't matter,fight with him and that smoke and drying again work maybe try this

can confirm, fight tomcat in a practice fight, not a real fight, that'll fix it. Just did it and can dry things again.

haven't had that happen. Did you try a different drying rack? Or maybe try cooking, washing clothes, or another similar activity to see if that fixes it

Yup, the tomcat practice fight worked. Maybe its some sort of invisible status thing that was triggered when I did a real fight with Tomcat.

Playing the new hardcore mode, ran into the issue. I can confirm that a practice fight with Tomcat fixed the bug. Real fight did not, so make sure you choose 'practice fight'.

That's such a weirdly unrelatable fix.
I haven't experienced the issue but if I do I'll remember that. I wonder if its locked into an uncompleted action that keeps it from starting certain other actions until its corrected, and the Tomcat fix resets it?

Seemed like it happened to me after a marksman contest bugged out. Might be linked, and then practicing with tomcat overwrites the 'marksman contest' status or something. But it is a really weird interaction, yes.

No, I'm using no mods. It's a bug that can happen.
