Best handcrafted maps in a game ever created...
Hands down, this game takes the winning prize for the most detailed and intimately designed landscapes that I've ever witnessed in all the games I've played. Most other games allow you to travel vast distances quickly, which isn't a bad thing because why would you want to travel slow and gaze at the copy and paste structure of of those other games.

Not only have Warhorse delivered on all the promises regarding every aspect of this game but I cannot play this title without constantly becoming distracted by it's beauty and wonder. I am forever getting off my horse to absorb the countryside and explore in the hopes of finding something special.

The attention to detail is out of this world and I have no idea what the second map has in store for me yet... Therefore, No questions here, I just wanted to express my admiration for the genius that has gone into creating this world aesthetically. Thanks very much for making my week off work an absolute banger Warhorse

Exactly. I can never go back to anything like AC or Horizon.

I'm thinking about building my own alchemy bench at home, but i question the authenticity of those ingriedients....
Also, what about the elevation to the terrain? It is far less flat than the original and that is a true blessing, looks so beautiful.
It's great, I was playing some Cyberpunk 2077 and I felt the open world was nice to look at but shallow, I didn't really get much in random encounters besides people shooting at me.

In KCD II, I've passed beggars, fighting peasants, sparring with wager and a few other random encounters that makes travel more than a point-to-point affair. Never mind the amazing exploration.

For one quest with the Nomads, I was fast traveling between two points since there was a bit too much back and forth, and even then I got random encounters while fast traveling. It just felt good, it felt connected with the rest of the game rather than disjointed which is how most fast travel systems feel like.

Exactly. I think this game has all the random encounter aspect of Red Dead 2 but with a vastly more detailed and intricate map.

best alchemy system imo
In lot of cases they are inspired by real landscapes. There is a lot of sandrock formations like that in that region of czech republic.

I know they really paid attention to detail in this aspect. How can this game get such hate ffs. Must be the internet clowns again. The reviews are great already, so...
Weird thing is, I've yet to find a grave with treasure in it. Hopefully that aspect has carried over into the sequel.
