A bit of an oversight by the devs imo, killing or stealing from cumans shouldn’t be considered a crime after what they did to our poor lad’s village.
Especially if it locks the main story quest so easily.
1. You initiate fight through dialogue option with Vasko
2. You need to draw your sword and wait for Vasko to attack you (!! The most important part). Don't attack him while he hasn't sword in his hand or you'll get the bug with camp.
3. Dump all bodies in the bushes so you can loot them in peaceful manner
but they forgot about a week later.
I don't think that matters. I always talk to Vasco first, so he'll know why I am attacking them. They draw their weapons first, but I still get the bounty because part of the subsequent fighting happens too close to the Gipsy camp. If someone sees you killing, you will get a bounty. Apparently the Cumans are treated as upstanding citizens.
