how can i get in the writing room to sprinkel the fire? both doors cant be interacted

I also encountered this bug, I had to use the console.
First I set "-devmode" in the startup parameters
Then I entered the command "goto 2445.04, 2623.26, 218.94" in the console (`).
And to get back, I used "goto 2444.75, 2619.9, 218.94"

Right-clic on the game in your Steam library > Properties > Startup parameters.

I had to continue without finishing this quest cause of the bugged door.

There is also another bug in the 2nd map where the practice combat guy pulls out a sword and starts to kill you til you yell at him to stop. I reported it.

Just worked for me. Make sure you followed each of the steps below:

1. Exit Game
2. Copy and paste "-devmode" (without the quotation marks) into the launch options (right click on game in steam library > Properties > General > Launch Options)
3. Launch game and Load / Continue your saved game.
4. Open console with tilde key (` ~, left of the 1 key)
5. Copy and paste the command "goto 2445.04, 2623.26, 218.94" into the console and press enter. This will teleport you into the room with the final fireplace that the doors cannot be interacted with.
6. Copy and paste the command "goto 2444.75, 2619.9, 218.94" into the console and press enter. This will teleport you back outside of the inaccessible room.

Thank you all for your help, I will definitely try this in my next run, but unfortunately I gave up 1 hour of googling and everything and just let the quest fail, but I saw somewhere that the reason the door is locked, has something to do with the main quest.

And to this guy lehappiest, stop spreading your false information about this woke ♥♥♥♥, start playing the game and try to read/think before you comment something! Thank you.
