Hans is too young

Hey. I feel as though Hans is far too young for certain scenarios in this game. For me it's disturbing and I'm pissed because I wanted to try this game out. I just can't do it ...

Im not lying. I was using OP’s logic,

Henry and hans are about the same age, if hans was 15, so was henry. But hans in the game isn’t 15, and neither is henry.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, you get bios on people by MEETING them or HEARING of them in game IIRC, heavily implying they are the same person, which indicates hes 15. So unless theres an explicit "NO, Hans is totally 18 years old" part I'm not hearing about, thats a pretty cut and dry indication hes 15.

You are purposely being obtuse. The BIOS are FROM THE REAL LIFE COUNTERPARTS.

Yes, you get the bios by meeting the ingame counterparts, but as already addressed, they can’t be one and the same, as there are characters that already died according to the bios

One more time: all of the codex entries are for characters who are based on historical figures. Those entries are there to provide historical context and often list the year the person died, and events that should have already taken place but haven't (like Markvart dying in 1402). Again, I don't want to speculate too much on why you seem to want the Hans Capon of this game to be the same age as he would've been historically, but if that were the case a number of events in both KCD and this game wouldn't have been possible.

I've seen 0 indication henry was underage in 1. Nothing concrete, just speculation. KCD2 literally gives dates, clear as day.

Besides that, this is a poor argument that "oh, if 1 does it, 2 doing it is ok".

No, people aren’t hand-waving you, people have already given examples of bios that directly go against what is happening in the game, thus confirming the bios aren’t actually from the game characters.

But you failed to acknowledge that. As long as you refuse to acknowledge that, nobody sees any reason to spend time gathering sources for you, because so far the only thing you have demonstrated is that you don’t argue in good faith and dismiss constantly.

You want actual sources? Stop being so dismissive about the information you have already been given. Perhaps people will want to engage with you in good faith then.

He is based on the real life character of the same name (see codex below), and going off the dates in the codex, he is approximately fifteen years old during the events of the games.

I thought people were just going off his historical birthday, not what was present in game.
