BUG with gamekeeper Vostatatek / can't get any further

When you brought the horse to the Vostatek and said I’ll see you at your house, he went to his home and you had a quest: Wait until he comes home and receive the reward. 3 days have passed, he has been home for a long time, I come to him and there is no “talk” button, and I can’t interact with him or his wife in any way. I don’t know WHAT to do and how to move forward, since this quest is further needed to find the dog.

Same. I have read that you need to go with him together to his house to avoid this bug, but i have played hours after that save...
Maybe there is a way to unbug it somehow and somebody will figure it out

For me Vostatek is lying injured at his hideout, I just brought back his horse. The next step is to Speak to Vostatek, but there's no option for speech.

I think I had something very similar.
I brought the horse back literally few steps from him, and I saw the green check mark appearing, I moved the horse back a bit, the quest re-updated without check mark and me being unable to speak to him. I had to get the horse again very close, green mark was back, and so was the option to talk and progress.

I cannot talk to him after he just jumped out of the tree and injured his foot. The Talk option is there, but it is greyed out.

The only solution is to make an other save. Even with an update, if you have launch the quest the only possibility is to make an other save.

I don't even get quest markers for him. I took about 2 hours to carry him through the woods to his camp because I had no quest markers and had to triangulate from screenshots on a kotaku guide.

I managed to finish the mission. You have to ride his horse very close to him, almost on top of him. Then the part is completed and you can talk to him.

seems to be the case with most quests where if you don't travel with them you can never complete the quest lol. Same thing just happened to a pevlona quest. What a stupid game lol

I had this, and was able to solve it by walking into him while crouching.

Crouching is the answer. The problem is that he is too far away from you to interact with but he also doesn't talk, so it looks like it bugged out. So it helps if you get super close by crouching.

I had the same issue with not being able to talk to him at his house and I reported it as a bug. Support got back to me fairly quickly and said they’re aware of the issue but don’t have a timeframe for when it’ll be fixed. Hopefully soon.
