Knights Sword Sketch not getting learned

I bought the Knights Sword Sketch from the blacksmith at Trosky Castle but after reading it the crafting recipe did not show up on the crafting section, I tried reloading the save a couple of times but it still wont get learned. It's pretty expensive too

Yes, bought it plenty times to test to try to resolve the bug thanks.

It is possible to learn it without mods but isn't known yet how to avoid the bug.

Yes same bug can apply to falchion as well.

it is. This is the first actually slightly annoying bug I encountered in 60h playtime.

Edit: the second. First was the issue where you cant get a good outcome for the roma quest if you have both items in your inventory.

-This recipe bug
-Have to walk up stairs backwards sometimes.
-Mutt getting stuck on terrain and glitching into it.
-Crime system bugged so you're wanted to for arrest even if nobody ever saw you.
-Hashek's squad glitching out and not riding to Semine.
-Demon's of Trosky quest can't be completed, because one of the fireplace is in a room you can't enter without devmode and console commands.
-Tons of visual bugs that don't affect gameplay (swords and belt-straps flopping around, people on wagons glitching out, etc).

No doubt many others I'm forgetting or have yet to encounter

It's a bug but don't worry, you'll get better weapon recipes in a jiffy.

I had the same issue. I've a feeling it is either bugged or should not be available on that map. I reloaded my save from before I learned the sketch and carried on.

However - When I got to Kuttenberg, I bought the sketch from a blacksmith there, it was far cheaper (around 150g) and when I learned it, the recipe showed up in my crafting tab.

I can't remember the exact merchant sorry, It might have been on the central north side, north of the 2 scribes and butchers, where the blacksmithing station is but I could be wrong.

*edit - I'll try reload an old save from before I learned it to pinpoint the merchant and report back.

Ok, so I was wrong. I had it in my inventory and just happened to try learn it when I was in kuttenberg. So it looks bugged. This time round I tried learning it on the first map, it doesn't show. Then reloaded a later save, tried on the second map, it then does show.

Happened to me as well. After I improved a certain weapon though I no longer cared.
