Game is hard
The game is really beautiful etc but I'm lost, I didn't think it would be so difficult and require so much patience... In 5 hours I've made no progress.

You need to steal armor. Being nice guy Henry won’t get you any progress.

Then steal horses and sell them at nomad camp until you have 2k then buy a horse.

You can find pebbles in a town South west of the area you get into a fight with hans in (idr the name) but theres a blacksmiths quest thatll bring you there. Pebbles is there, and at least if you got a few points into speech craft, you can get him for free.
Yep but you need money for good clothes first to get the speech points. Selling horse is pretty good because you get like 300 a pop

Bro there are plenty of guides on youtube but what you can do is to focus on alchemy brew potions and sell it which is quiet lucrative. Or you try yourself with lockpicking which is very hard for a beginner but you get used to it.

The hardness is what people love about this game because its so immersive .

when you start out, theres bandits close to town who will attack you. you can run back to the guard on the road there and kill the bandit(s) together, it will be nice set of gear to start with. alternatively you can rob the armory or help some other sod of the burden of their belongings.

close to town is a field with belladonnas, pick about 30-60 of them, get half of the amount in nettles, craft savior schnapps in herbalist dwelling. read recipe then experiment to find the most efficient way, soon youll be getting a bunch of potions each craft.

if the above manner to help yourself to some gear isnt for you, you can craft potions and sell those for good money.

from there either explore to unburden neverdowells of their stuff or find points of interest, treasure. perhaps do the lions crest quest line if you got preorder, walking around aint bad, if you do it overburdened youll get strength, vitality, main level progress.

but remember, youve just recovered from something that took all your skills and motoric funtions. so no heroics until you relearn your abilities.

you get a room and a stash box from the blacksmith from the optional part of the main quest "ask blacksmith for work" youll get the room after a crafting tutorial.

theres the horse, google for kingdom come 2 pebbles if you want it.
The game can be hard for newcomers, but those who played KCD 1 will probably find it a lot easier. I'd say as soon as you finish the prologue do some quests nearby, avoid combat if you can, when you got some Groschen buy basic equips or loot them in the world. From there get into the more dangerous activities. The game takes practice but you'll get a hang on it soon enough. Hope it helps.

If you're unfamiliar with the first game, my best advice would be to do the blacksmiths quest first thing. Go northwest from the first town and you'll find the blacksmith. He will give you a room and a chest to story excess stuff in. He will make you smith a basic weapon for yourself. Then if you ask him about something more insteresting to do, he'll send you on a quest. Do that quest, it will be a mini tutorial to adventuring and give you lots of loot. Remember to always upgrade your equipment from the stuff you loot of dead enemies. With the loot from the enemies of the quest in combination with the reward you get from the blacksmith you'll be set up very nicely for further adventures. Just remember to loot and sell any excess asap. Merchants don't have a ton of money, but they get it back after a bit. So its best to sell any loot as fast as possible so the merchants have time to regenerate their money.

It's tough to start and I also made little progress but a few perks and stats, and getting a horse (Pebbles) made things a LOT better for me. Do the two intro quests; blacksmith and miller. They really helped me.

Focus on getting some coin
Learning some combat with Tomcat
Getting a horse

And things suddenly pick up.

It's beautiful, immmersive, but I'm not feeling the love yet, beacuse I'm not getting anywhere and don't know what I can do to get any progress. The reviews say it will get great at some point. I hope they are right.

Sadly all the reviews were written with 2h or under playtime. Most of them are not real reviews.
Its a 100hr+ game a real old school RPG its a tough slog for the first 30+ hrs but once you start getting traing and decent armour improved stamina and a feeling for the timing, thats when you start to feel its true greatness. Pretty much everyone is as good or better than you for a good while, this isnt the modern istant gratification style game. Learn a trade to make money, you get stronger and better by doing stuff...
Do you know If Lion's Crest quest is available for Gold Edition?

So far I'm 0-3 against a trio of wolfs protecting a crossbow. Coming from the first game I personally think it's harder. Though I just got out of the prologue.

Do the tutorial fights (early story) they will teach you all you need to know, and allow you to practice.
