Well the intro is far too long with boring dialogue and bad jokes. The only good part of the 3 hour or more intro was the siege, but it lasted 5 minutes.

Game is boring, is a complete slog with overwhelming number of tedious tasks and quest right off the bat, that are not very rewarding. They are not part of anything just thrown out all over the place. Just talk to some dude and ends up with a quest.

Couldn't even bring my self to play tonight. Boring really, nothing exciting and new like first game. They should have created another main character with different story. Doesn't work with henry second time.

Thats how I felt trying out the first game recently, way overrated it wasn't super special as claimed.

I decided to refund my preorder and wait for sale, the combat still sucks.

Bordric my dear Friend! I have quite oposite feelings, i played part 1 too but i love part 2. It is hard to play, mainly becouse of difficult combat and little tedious save system but in general it is fantastic game.
Maybe give it a second chance :)

WTF bruuuh, where magic? Where quick slot 100 potions drinking, where ultra combo with fire sword end? Bruuuh! BRUUUUH! WTF! When I craft I wanna effin craft by clicking craft > ok, not having to hammer that effin sword for 5 minutes, BRUUUUUUH!

That is a valid opinion. It does seem to be an even slower start for Henry than the first game was. Getting gold without abusing Alchemy (which is one of my least favorite parts of the game) early on is especially tough. the vendors pay next to nothing.

I was probably 18 hours in before I got some metal armor as loot, which just happened tonight.

I am enjoying it overall though. The world is beautiful

Even ignoring Vavra, gay romance and a black character.

Just 7 overall as a neutral person not hating on anything.

I'd never give this a GOTY award, but it's definitely very fun.
