FIrstly, I activated developer mode and put in the cheat that allows me to save at any point (if you dont want to do this, "save and exit" works as a auto save essentially.
Once I got access to the kitchen, after some trial and error, I just brewed the potion (Henry mentioned I should have taken it off the fire earlier but it didnt seem to matter) then sprinted up to the Chapel.
There is that guard that stands at the foot of the stairs, on the way up to the chapel. You just need to juke him. I went to a corner of the room, he left the stairs, and I just sprinted around him and up to the chapel lol
Its probably not how they intended you to beat that particular part, but im quickly realizing there is a fair share of bugs and funky things that occur. Dont worry about the sneaking
Yeah I dont like using cheats either, but ive already gotten screwed by some weird bugs (people leaving areas before they should and then they act like i abandoned them in conversation later) so the way I see it, its just a safety measure
Right click the game, go to properties, launch options, type "-devmode" . Once in game click ~ and then type "wh_sys_NoSavePotion = 1" if you want to change it back, just change the 1 to a 0
I read the book in the docs room, and it was the 2nd mention of a fevor potion, the one too help the scribe. I did it last night so this is from memory but I think it was
boil wine
add 3 (ehhh it started with an F)
add 2 ground ginger
add a leaf that starts with an E
Work for the Smith,
go back and meet the Lady with the locked chest to get lockpick.
Go into the other kitchen and feed that hungry soldier with whatever you could steal somewhere so you can go upstairs.
Sneak into the apothecarys room, get the book, unlock the chest for ingredients and make the potion for Thomas.
Now sneak you way up on the other side to the tower where they brought him, hand over the potion and you´re done.
Do the blacksmith quest, do the scaffolding quest, do the kitchen quest. You actually dont even need to complete the kitchen quest, you just need access to the kitchen.
I barely had to do any sneaking, like I said above, just sprint everywhere lol
Once you have the fever potion (MIGHT have to sneak around to get there) you can just sprint up to the chapel.
In order.
1. Take the bags of charcoal.
2. talk to the blacksmith (this unlocks allowing you into next section of castle) and do his quest.
3. After you take the item to the guy he wants you to deliver it to, this guy will sell lockpicks (just ask questions of him till it unlocks. Not the blacksmith, the guy he wanted you to take the item to). You can grab the repair kit behind the guy you drop off the item too and if you sell it and yoru shoes you can afford a lockpick.
4. Go to the woman complaining near the smithy and accept her quest. She takes you into the kitchen.
5. Unlock the chest for her and talk to the steward above.
6. (Try to convince him that you can help) but if you can't convince him, sneak into the nearby room and straight ahead from where you came in (a bit to the left) is a bag of apples. snatch em all and quickly get out cuz a maid comes in soon.
7. Go to the smithy. When looking at the smithy turn right and go up the stairs into the room. Bribe the guard with the apple and he'll turn his back on you.
8. Sneak upstairs all the way to the top and you'll find a door. Enter the door and then you'll see 2 more doors. Go in the one on the right and talk to the lady. Hopefully you can persuade her. But if not you're okay.
9. If you couldn't persuade her, unlock the nearby very easy chest and grab everythign.
10. brew a savior schaps and save your game.
11. on the bookshelf near the door is a diary, read it and then go to the alchemy table to make the right concoction. (The fever tonic)
12. Try to sneak to where the captain is being held, but if you get caught then just run with all your might and talk to the lady at his bedside (even if they chasing you).
A cutscene will begin and you've done it.
took me a dozen tries to figure this ♥♥♥♥ out. Hope it helps someone
Good job homie
